SFF Norwegian delegation visits Dongtai Ocean Stainless Steel to conduct international qualification review for dual phase steel manufacturers

On November 5th, the SFF Norwegian delegation once again visited Dongtai Yuanyang Stainless Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to carry out the qualification certification review of duplex steel manufacturers. This is the second visit of the SFF expert group after the first round of review in February this year, aiming to systematically evaluate the company's comprehensive strength in special material manufacturing, system operation, and continuous improvement.

The audit team went deep into the forging center, flange workshop, pipe fitting workshop, and CNAS testing center to review the implementation of the enterprise's raw material management, heat treatment control, mechanical processing, and quality control system throughout the entire process. Experts highly recognize the process stability and consistency of COSCO SHIPPING in the manufacturing of duplex steel, super duplex steel, and nickel based alloys, and praise the company for making significant progress in its digital quality management system.

At the summary meeting, the SFF Norwegian delegation listened to the company's special reports on intelligent manufacturing, special alloy research and development, and international project execution. The expert group fully affirmed the concept of focusing on high-end manufacturing and valuing technological innovation in COSCO Shipping.

Compared with the initial audit, COSCO has demonstrated higher consistency and control in terms of process accuracy, system improvement, and professional management, fully demonstrating the company's ability to continuously improve its system and firm practice of excellent manufacturing standards
